"The Yellow Label", Veuve Clicquot undisputed symbol, recognizable at a glance, and draws the hallmarks of the Maison: quality, innovation, elegance, tradition and originality.
The predominance of Pinot Noir (50 to 55%) provides the typical structure of the wines of Maison, while a touch of Pinot Meunier (15 to 20%) complete the harmony of the whole; Chardonnay (28 to 33% ) gives the wine elegance and finesse essential to its perfect balance.
The assembly includes a particularly high proportion of reserve wines from different harvests (5-6 on average): 25 to 35%, sometimes up to 40% to ensure the continuity of the style of the Maison. These reserve wines, which come to the oldest 9 years of age, are stored individually, respecting the origin and vintages.
Beautiful appearance, yellow-golden, rich and fine mousse. Powerful and pleasant fragrance, fruity initially (white fruits, dried fruits) and then tending vanilla and brioche: an ideal compromise between the aromas of the grape (fruit) and those of aging in bottle (pastry).
In the mouth, the attack gradually fades honest and dynamic to give way to fruity harmony. The wine has a particular structure that classifies the family of Structured and Brut vinous. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, orchestrated around the fruity and spicy, offering an ideal balance between finesse and majesty, making it perfect as an aperitif or a meal of Champagne.
