The Grande Année is not processed if in the presence of exceptional vintages, and this is why the Grand Année Bollinger expresses excellence. Since in this Champagne is found that the particular nature of the year has seen the birth, it is also the result of the Bollinger style, of its territory and its exceptional traditional processing methods. The majestic Grand Année develops therefore a vinous, intense aromas, rich and complex. Its color varies depending on the nature of "millésime".

The grapes come from vineyards on 100% Grands Crus and Premiers.
The main ones are: Pinot Noir: AY, Bouzy, Verzenay, Louvois and Mareuil s / AY Chardonnay Le Mesnil s / Oger, Oger, Cuis, Cramant and Chouilly.
The first fermentation of the wine is made in oak barrels cru cru vineyard to vineyard. They are used only old barrels (5 years and older) in order not to give it 'tannins it' tastes of wood. The advantage is to reinforce the complexity of 'aromatic and aging potential of wines.
La Grande Annee mature on the lees for at least 5 years before disgorging, corking with cork allows the wine not to be too high an oxidation, thus ensuring 'a remarkable freshness.
Rest in the cellar for at least 3 months prior to shipment.
