The Belle Epoque cuvée comes from a creative process based on intuition and savoir faire. By adopting a system of separation of the crus in small tin, Herve Deschamps works one by one, the Grand Cru are constituents, and then, without any assembly test, carried out in a single gesture the final assembly. The cuvée Belle Epoque 1999 has been matured for more than five years in the historical cellars of the Maison Perrier-Jouet to express its full potential today and become an exceptional champagne.
55% Chardonnay, Pinot Noir 45%
The dress tends to canary yellow with light green, a sign of the strong presence of Chardonnay. It has intense and regular dialogue with effervescence fine and lively form a cordon of long-lasting can highlight elegance.
This vintage of Chardonnay reveals refined, clean and elegant setting to create floral aromas and citrus and exotic fruits. It follows the opening, a floral note of hawthorn flowers later to evolve into honeyed notes and perform in a close touch of brioche. The Pinot Blacks make the necessary backbone to the personality of the wine, while remaining nimble, delicate and persuasive.
Power, roundness and persistence distinguish this great wine. The attack was decided in the mouth, with a tendency to melted butter, almond and nougat. It is a wine flight, silky and persistent.
This exclusive cuvee will marry perfectly with delicate textures, but sought after as the scallops lightly cooked, the prawns to the bridge, a sturgeon carpaccio, raw fish or sushi.
